We've featured Hans Rosling and his cool data visualizations on this blog multiple times. Now he's got his own BBC show, "The Joy of Stats", which airs on December 7th on BBC4. Unfortunately, it does not appear that it will be shown outside the UK, but here is the preview:

Rosling Talks to TED (Again)

Hans Rosling's TED talks are always fun, and we've hyped them repeatedly here. Well, he's got a new one on the Millennium Development Goals.

The Bottom Billion

Hans Rosling, who we've covered before, has a new TED talk. In that past he's done a lot of interesting things illustrating data on computers. This time, he uses plastic IKEA boxes to talk about demographics and development.

These are two of the most interesting, engaging and funny Ted Talks I 've ever seen. They were given by Hans Rosling, a Professor of International Health from Sweden in 2006 and 2007. From Ted:

Dr. Rosling tackles international development and the use of statistics and data in the first lecture and poverty and development in the second lecture. They truly are a must see.
