The Crisis from an Historian's Perspective

Niall Ferguson traces the history of the financial crisis here. It is self-recommending, as they say.

  1. It's always good to remember the history, unfortunately, it seems most of the politicians (and voters...) don't remember things more than 2 days ago...
and I think, once this crisis will end, it will be forgotten in a short while. And then repeated. And forgotten. And repeated...
But this is mankind - we know our history, but we don't think about it :)
    Take care

  2. it's in the December issue of Vanity Fair; don't know about Canada, but in the U.S. magazines generally hit shelves a few weeks before their "date". so a December issue will hit stores maybe 2 weeks before December 1.
